Pink Beach Cruiser

Friday, May 26, 2017

Today's project.
My husband has a scrap metal company & he gets all kinds of things.
This rusty old beach cruiser is now a crazy pink planter
in my garden.

Happy mail

Monday, April 24, 2017

Don't you just love getting packages in the mail?
Today I had two special treats.....

I purchased this gorgeous bracelet made from vintage jewelry from JuliesVintageJewelry on etsy.
I just love it...I included a link to her shop, so go check it out.
Love how she re-purposes vintage jewelry pieces.

My friend Mary, in Cape May, NJ, knows I collect all things "Vintage Deer"
Isn't this vintage hankie seriously sweet & "dear"?...and a little card too!!
Love it Mary, you made my day...love you too.

Thank you for stopping by to see today's "Happy Mail"
xoxo

Ocean Grove Giant Craft Show

Friday, March 24, 2017

Warm weather coming ...that means it is time to schedule some craft markets.
I will be in Historical Ocean Grove, New Jersey, June 17, 2017
for the annual Giant Craft Show.

I am working on my show inventory now and in addition
to all the "Beachy & Dreamy" handmade goods I am bringing this year,
I have to add some "Vintagy"girl inspiration.
This is a tote I just finished. It has some old lace & vintage jewelry too.
I'll keep you updated with new items as I get them ready!

Ocean Grove, down by the beach, it is such a great venue..
Hope to see you there!

Decorating my Granddaughter's room

Sunday, December 18, 2016

Today was a little decorating for my Granddaughter.
I purchased this amazing letter "A" from  Ashley at 48HourMonogram on Etsy.
Link added if you would like to check them out..
also for my blog followers... use coupon code BEACH at checkout to save 15%
Thank you Ashley!

Painted it with Annie Sloan's Paris Grey chalk paint.
I am so happy with how it turned out.

These precious little pink house shadow boxes came from Target.
The garland is from SheepFarmFelt on Etsy. (link attached)
Located here in New Jersey, these garlands are the sweetest ever!

Such a sweet space for a sweet little girl.

A Sun Room that Twinkles a tour

Thursday, December 1, 2016

Welcome to my Christmas sun room tour!
I have been slowly but surely getting my home decorated for the season.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves this room
She calls it her room... so of course I have many special things just for her.

Yep that is Peppa Pig enjoying the morning sunshine

I have been collecting little sweet pieces one at a time over the years from Flea Markets
It is beautiful when they all come together

The NOEL was my moms

I always pick up these sweet vintage song books when I see them
I think they go perfectly with the carolers

This is my granddaughter's tree that we decorated together
I love these 7' pencil trees.
I purchased two this year from Michaels
They make a statement without taking up a lot of space.
One of my next projects will be the one in my living room decorated with vintage shiny brites.

The doll house belongs to my daughter
made for her in the early 1980's by her grandpa.
It is now all decorated for Christmas & is a big hit

So happy you could stop in for the tour!
Happy decorating!!

Kitchen Window Wonderland - Keeping it Simple & Sweet

Saturday, November 26, 2016

I am slowly starting to add some Holiday Cheer to our home.
Today's project: "Kitchen Window Wonderland"
I changed out the curtain to a red buffalo check, added a pom pom garland,
a couple of small green wreaths & vintage deer.

Keeping it simple & sweet and I am loving it.

Next project to tackle are those shelves you see on the left hand side.
Be back soon...better get to it!!
